I am so happy to get the first big test out of the way. I did not do as well as I thought I would and like so many people have said I over thought many of the answers. This is the first test that many of us have taken where we have to really think about the answers. Memorizing a list is much easier than critical thinking so I will just have to study hardier for the final.
Now for the rest of my day, lab was fun. I do like are group and today we had to bathe our lab partner. Tamila, thanks for letting me practice putting up you hair. We do not have a clinical this week but I think group one is ready for beds and baths.
I love that you said you will have to study "hardier" instead of harder for the final... i think that is such a good way of describing the difference between studying for a critical thinking test, and studying for the average style of tests that we are used to...
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way about the test. Felt like a high "B" but I barely passed. I'm ready to do some DRUGS!! Pharmacodynamics and passing meds...should be fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's Sunday and I'm watching "Da' Bears" beat up on the Cowboys, 3rd quarter its 14 to 20. Anyways, I plan on reserving the conference room in the learning commons to practice delivery of our country/culture presentation. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteDitto on the test strategy, Gary. I wish I had done better too.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your group's presentation...mainly the food!
definately agree about the test. i think all will do better on the final and i wish i was born with the talent of critical thinking. would much rather memorizing facts...
